How and where is Ocaña.

                        I present to you the city of Ocaña  

Ocaña is the most beautiful city. I was born, I grew up and I have lived in this city,  this is a beautiful city in the Colombian Northeast. It is the second largest city of the department and is formed politically by various districts like the "Playa de Belen" so named for the figures assimilate houses a manger. This is a beautiful site that has a unique natural wealth, heritage protected, called Los Estoraques. The small city of Ocaña is surrounded by mountains and green meadows. There is an ethnic and religious diversity but the Catholic Religion predominate. In the city there are many churches. In my city you can also take a tour of the history, tradition and customs, to reflect the history of this city the parade of "Los Genitores", where are revived the most important events of my city. Even today many residents preserved their olds beliefs, myths and traditions that embellish the character of it citizens.  In the religious field, I love an  beautiful churche named " El Agua de la Virgen" this place is natural wealth, its beautiful passages, diversity of flora and fauna and pretty and simple people. Today in Ocaña, they are doyng conducted numerous constructions that indicate the economic and social growth of the city.

I CAN DO AND I CAN NOT DO IN MY CITY

In my city I can do many things. I can go on Saturdays to walk and to visit my favorite place "the holy water of the virgin", it is a beautiful place where I can appreciate the devotion of mi people.  I can walk the city lanes and go to visit the small surrounding towns. I can go for a walk with my friends and go to the cinema to see a movie. Also I can go for a walk in the river, for being a small town.  I can a raice fast to anywhere you need to go. I can go in ocaña to churches on Holy Saturday. In Ocaña I can eat freshly cocotas tree downs and I can eat a delicious arepa with barbatuscas.  I love walk to the beach, but unfortunately in Ocaña City I can't go to the beach because in because there are no beaches, I can't visit museums because in my city there is only a small one. I can not see large buildings or shopping centers.  In Ocaña I can see theater and cultural events in city parks but in Ocaña I can not see big theaters drams because are not spaces for this in my city.  In Ocaña I can not spend the afternoon in cities iron but I can spend the sunday play soccer in the soccer field.

            BUCARAMANGA vs OCAÑA

As I said before, Ocaña is a small town, so when  I compared to any other city will be even smaller. However for this exercise I speak of Ocaña in comparation to another city where he lived, Bucaramanga. I had the opportunity to live long time in the city of Bucaramanga. Ocaña is smaller and pacific than Bucaramanga;  In Ocaña places are closer in Bucaramanga. Bucaramanga is more important politically than Ocaña, but Ocaña is less complicated to live. The city of Bucaramanga is bigger and there are more work oportunides, But instead the city of Ocaña is cheaper to live. The items are cheaper in Ocaña in Bucaramanga the transportation is cheaper in ocaña that in Bucaramanga.

In Bucaramanga the streets are longer and wider than Ocaña,  in Bucaramanga the distances are far distances more in Bucaramanga in Ocaña are shorter. The Ocaña buildings are large but are larger in Bucaramanga.  Ocaña is a small market square of Bucaramanga is huge. Ocaña is a small airport is the largest Bucaramanga; Ocaña pedestrian bridge are large and Bucaramanga are larger.  For this reasons the citizens of Ocaña travel continually to Bucaramanga to do many errands several; however Ocaña is a great city to live.
